Sound design, sonic branding
Chris Scholz is a sound designer nestled deep within the electronic music industry. He’s been performing as an artist under his ‘Spekki Webu’ project for over a decade and has released music on forward-thinking labels such as Amniote and Blue Hour.
Till 2020, he was pursuing his artistic goals while serving as a Sergeant within the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps. From that moment onwards, his sonic craft became his main activity, expanding his work with sound solutions for the film, branding, and art industries.
As his mentoring background from the army became part of his personality, he’s educating the new generation of sound professionals through courses and youth work, working together with organisations such as Ableton and Resident Advisor.
