3D and motion design, film direction
Matti is a visual artist and director who brings stories to life with CG and real-time animation. The driving force behind his work is his passion for creating characters and bringing them to life within cinematic environments. As a director, he looks for simple emotions in complex worlds that mix sci-fi, surrealism, and reality.
He has a background in filmmaking, live visuals, and motion graphics. He has directed and animated many successful commercials and won several awards, such as an ADC’E Gold, three Silver Awards at Vuoden Huiput, Junior of the Year at Vuoden Huiput, and a Vimeo Staff Pick.
He grew up in Helsinki, but is currently based in London — working on projects independently worldwide.
